November 7, 2012 - Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL)
Illinois Piasa News Release

Friday, November 9 at 7:35 pm at The Sports Academy in Glen Carbon, Illinois, will be "Glen-Ed Night", as we are joined by teams, and their families and friends, from Glen-Ed Soccer Club, and the first ever meeting between Illinois Piasa and the Rockford Rampage (formerly of the MISL), in what's sure to be the beginning of a heated intrastate rivalry. Piasa dropped their home opener last Saturday against the Detroit Waza, 11-5, in front of 515 fans, and are looking to make it 1-1 on the season before traveling north to battle the Chicago Mustangs, Saturday, November 10 at 4:30 pm. You can tune in to watch Piasa, at home and on the road, live at americaonesports.com.

Piasa has partnered with the St. Louis Area Foodbank for this event. Bring a canned good to the game and receive $2.00 OFF General Admission. The St. Louis Area Foodbank began its service to the community in 1975. Today, they continue to be an organization that relies on the generosity of others to make a difference in the lives of those in need of food assistance. Since that time, they've grown to become the Bi-State region's largest non-profit 501(c)(3) food distribution center dedicated to feeding those in need. You can go to http://www.stlfoodbank.org/Donate.aspx to donate food, money, or your time to help this wonderful organization.

Edison's Entertainment Complex, located at 2477 South State Route 157 in Edwardsville, Illinois, will have a booth set up at the game promoting their business and giving away some great prizes. Edison's Entertainment features genius level fun for everyone - including bowling, laser tag, arcade, party rooms, and a full bar and restaurant serving an inventive menu of eats and drinks. To learn more, visit edisonsfun.com. Edison's - what a bright idea!

General Admission tickets are $10.00, kids under 3 are free. VIP and Party Zone table seating also available. Tickets can be purchased at the door or at www.illinoispiasa.com/ticket-information. Piasa fans receive $1.00 off General Admission to ANY Illinois Piasa home game for police, firefighters, emergency responders, veterans of the armed services, and students (valid ID required). Also, children 12 and under wearing their soccer uniform or Piasa shirt get $2.00 off General Admission at the door. USSF Referees showing their badge will receive $2.00 off general admission, as well. One of the best things about bringing the family to watch Piasa play is that there are NO OVERPRICED CONCESSIONS like at the big stadiums! All of your food and drink at The Sports Academy will be regular price! As always, fans can join the team on the field after the game for autographs and photos!
