Philadelphia Soul Training Camp Dates Set

PHILADELPHIA (January 14, 2014) - The Arena Football League's Defending Back-to-Back American Conference Champion, Philadelphia Soul have set the dates for training camp for the 2014 season. Players will report to camp on Thursday, February 20 with the first practices beginning on Saturday, February 22. Camp will take place at the Philadelphia Eagles' NovaCare Complex in South Philadelphia.

"We have a great foundation set to make another championship run this season," said Soul head coach Clint Dolezel. "We are really excited about the core group that we have kept intact from the previous two seasons. We have a lot of veteran guys with experience who are eager to share their knowledge and a group of younger talent that we hope develops to make us stronger."

The team is allowed to bring 35 players to camp, but will be cut down to the final 24 by the end of training camp.

Training Camp will be open to the media every day with a Media Day to be held at the end of camp to announce the final roster. Information regarding the times and dates of the practice schedule and Media Day will follow in a press release, on the Soul website, and through social media.

The Soul training camp concludes with final cuts being made on Saturday, March 8 and the Soul kick off their 2014 season in Phoenix on Saturday, March 15 at 9 p.m. in an ArenaBowl rematch against the defending champion, Arizona Rattlers. The home opener is set for Saturday, April 19 at 6 p.m. against the Jacksonville Sharks at the Wells Fargo Center.

Single-game ticket sales for the 2014 Soul season will open the first week of February. Season tickets are currently available for as low as $110, call (215) 253-4900, ext. 3.
