Philadelphia Soul Announce Kids Get in Free on June 29th

June 17, 2019 - Arena Football League (AFL) - Philadelphia Soul News Release

PHILADELPHIA - To celebrate the start of summer vacation, the Philadelphia Soul announced on Monday that single-game tickets will be free for children 14 and under with the purchase of an adult ticket for the team's final regular-season home game on Saturday, June 29th. Fans can take advantage of this special offer by visiting www.philadelphiasoul.com/kidsfree and entering the discount code KIDS at checkout.

Prior to the game, fans are also invited to visit the Sensory Friendly Fan Fest, sponsored by Child Guidance Resource Centers. Located in Lot C at the Wells Fargo Center, the event will run from 1-3 pm and feature activities for kids and families, including a bounce house, football toss, music, and more. Specific sensory-friendly activities such as sidewalk chalk, a bubbles station, and educational services will also be available.

"Child Guidance Resource Centers is proud to support Inclusion Day at the Philadelphia Soul game on Saturday June 29," said CGRC President and Chief Executive Officer Colleen McNichol. "Educating others to understand differences and empowering those that feel different is important to raising awareness and reducing the stigma often associated with mental health. We are excited to offer family-friendly activities, parent education, mental health screenings, music, and refreshments free to everyone at the festival."

Inside the arena, CGRC and the Soul are proud to provide a sensory-friendly space for fans with sensitivities to enjoy the game in comfort. Located inside the Cadillac Grille, those in attendance can see and feel examples of the equipment used by the Soul, take pictures with the team's mascot and dance team, and watch the game, all while being protected from the high noise levels and visual stimulants found inside the traditional seating area. CGRC will have support staff on-hand to provide assistance and information to families as well.
