Philadelphia, PA, April 7, 2006 - The Philadelphia KiXX, winners of thereof-their-last four, conclude the 2005-06 season with a set of back-to-back contests, commencing with the team's home finale versus the Blast on Saturday, April 8. The first 2,500 fans to enter the gates will receive a KiXX Rally Towel, courtesy of G&J Automotive, Inc.. The contest, dubbed "Fan Appreciation Night," also features special promotions and giveaways items from all of the team's corporate partners. Game-time at the Wachovia Spectrum is scheduled for 7:05 pm ET with the action televising live on CN8, The Comcast Network.
Operation Soccer Ball
The KiXX have partnered with the Defense Department's "America Supports You," as well as Ben Franklin Global, Operation Give, and KB Consultants to distribute soccer balls to the youth players throughout the countries of Afghanistan and Iraq. Any fan bringing a new soccer ball to the team's home finale versus Baltimore on Saturday, April 8 will receive a voucher for a complimentary ticket to a KiXX home game in the 2006-07 season. The balls will be collected at the north and south entrances of the Wachovia Spectrum and then delivered to various branches of the United State Military by Operation Give. The club will present a plaque to a representative from each of their partners in the venture at halftime of the contest.
The club then concludes the series and their 2005-06 season with a trip to the Windy City to battle the Chicago Storm on Sunday, April 9. Game-time at UIC Pavilion is slated for 5:00 pm ET.

The Philadelphia KiXX are a member of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL), a single-entity organization that features a coast-to-coast presence across the United States. The club is currently in the midst of their 10th season of play at the Wachovia Spectrum located in Philadelphia, PA. The team also operates the Philadelphia KiXX Summer Kamp program, which is offered to boys and girls, ages four to 16, throughout the Tri-State area.
