
Perry named OHL Player of the Week

Toronto - The Ontario Hockey League today announced that London Knights right winger Corey Perry is the OHL Player of the Week for the week ending Monday October 11 after scoring five goals and 10 points in three wins.
Perry, a 19-year-old native of Peterborough, had a hat trick in an 8-0 win over the Windsor Spitfires on October 8. He added two goals, including the 100th of his four-year OHL career, and two assists in a 6-1 win over the Sarnia Sting on October 9 and finished the week with three assists in a 6-3 win over the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds on October 10.
Perry, a first round pick of the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in 2003, leads all OHL scorers with eight goals and 20 points in eight games this season.
