April 3, 2011 - SPHL (SPHL)
Augusta RiverHawks News Release

The Pensacola Ice Flyers were victorious Saturday night against the Augusta RiverHawks 4-2 to tie the best-of-three series at one. Pensacola's goaltender Ryan Scott stopped 30 shots to preserve the victory and send the series back to Augusta for Sunday night's Game Three between the two clubs.

Specialty teams were key in the game as the RiverHawks went 0-8 on the power play. The Ice Flyers managed to capitalize on one of their power plays during the game, which ended up being key in their victory.

The RiverHawks enjoyed a big game out of their first line, as Captain Matt Auffrey had a goal and an assist, as did Travis Dunstall. Linemate Branden Kosolofsky had two assists on the night as well.

However, the specialty teams of the Ice Flyers came through as Dan Bucella scored the game winning goal on the power play just over five minutes into the third period. Brett Liscomb sealed the game with an empty-netter with seconds left in the third period.

Game three will be played Sunday night at the James Brown Arena at 7:30pm. Tickets will be on sale at the James Brown Arena box office Sunday morning.
