Washington, PA-March, 17, 2015-The Pennsylvania Rebellion announced they will host a three-game series against the USSSA Pride June 25-June 27 to the Susquehanna Valley. The two teams will square off in York and Lancaster.

The Rebellion, who will launch their second season at CONSOL Energy Park in Washington, PA, hope to further enhance the popularity of softball in Pennsylvania. The first game of this series will be contested at York's Santander Stadium, home of the York Revolution of the Atlantic League. Games two and three will be played at Clipper Magazine Stadium in Lancaster on Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27.

The pair of Atlantic League ballparks will be modified to fit the field dimensions for softball, just as CONSOL Energy Park is for the PA Rebellion.

The NPF is comprised of the very best athletes the sport has to offer including former NCAA Champions and MVP's, former Olympians, and some top international players. NPF is the only professional women's softball league in the country.

Tickets for the games will be $12 a piece and $8 for groups of 25 or more.  Tickets go on sale to the general public at 9 a.m., Friday, March 24. Current Rebellion season ticket holders should identify themselves as Rebellion season ticket holders and special offers will be given to them.

The event will begin with a softball clinic for area players at York on Wednesday, June 24 with players from both teams. Details on that clinic will be released at a later time.

"The most accomplished and decorated softball players in the world are coming to the Susquehanna Valley," said Steven Zavacky, General Manager of the PA Rebellion.  "York, Lancaster and NPF are all anxious to see response from the local communities, considering those fans have been so passionate about Atlantic League Baseball in the time they've had their franchises. It's something new and exciting to try in two great markets."

"We're intrigued by softball based on the response we've gotten in the past," said York Revolution President Eric Menzer. "It is clearly still a growing sport, and it is thriving at the youth level here in Central Pennsylvania. If there's an opportunity to help grow that game here in addition to baseball, we're going to explore it."
