April 6, 2007 - South Coast League (SCL)
South Georgia Peanuts News Release

The South Georgia Peanuts are pleased to announce a radio broadcast agreement with Cumulus Media. All Peanuts games will air on "Sports Radio 1450 The Fan". The agreement will allow Peanuts fans throughout southern Georgia to follow the action of every pitch during the inaugural 2007 season.

"I am very excited about this agreement because Peanuts fans will now be able to just flip on their radio and keep up with the team even on nights they could not make it to the ballpark or when the team is on the road," Peanuts GM Keith Michlig said. "This also exemplifies the great community support we have for the team that we are able to broadcast all the games on local radio."

WGPC Radio has a signal strength of 1,000 watts, which will give fans all over the area the opportunity to tune into Peanuts games. The station's signal can be heard as far as Tifton, Americus, Cuthbert and Meigs.

"Cumulus Media is committed to quality, family entertainment. The South Georgia Peanuts represents the perfect marriage between America's favorite past time and affordable entertainment that the entire family can enjoy," Cumulus Market Manager Jay D. Wachs said. "Sports Radio 1450 The Fan is proud to carry all 90 games this season as the flagship station of the Peanuts and all of the Cumulus stations will have special promotional events at the ballpark during the course of the season."

Cumulus Media owns and operates eight radio stations in the Albany area. Overall, the Atlanta-based Company owns and operates over 300 radio stations in the United States servicing more than sixty different markets. They are the second largest radio broadcasting company in the United States. Cumulus is also one of the most successful radio broadcasting companies in the country as they rank first or second in terms of revenue share or audience share in virtually every market they operate in.

This agreement will supplement a league wide deal with All-In Broadcasting. As the "Official Online Radio Provider" of the South Coast League, All-In Broadcasting will provide audio streaming of all Peanuts games in addition to the SCL championship series and the Post Season All-Star game. Matt Pauley will serve as the "Voice of the Peanuts". First pitch is set for May 18th when the Peanuts visit the Charlotte County RedFish. South Georgia Peanuts...One Shell of a Good Time!
