The 28 year-old, originally signed in the sixth round by the Seattle Mariners, has reached as high as Double-A while playing in the Seattle, Philadelphia, and Chicago White Sox farm systems. The big first baseman already has a fine start on the July award as well as he has hit eight homeruns in 10 days to open the month, not including a lead-off home run in the GBL All-Star game earlier this week.
