
Patriots Pick Up Former Buckeye

GREENVILLE, S.C., February 13 â The Fayetteville Patriots have acquired guard Brian Brown, according to an announcement by NBDL director of basketball operations Chris Alpert and Fayetteville coach Jeff Capel.
Brown, a 6-4, 200, shooting guard from Ohio State ('02) played in Germany last season, averaging 12.7 points and 2.5 assists per game. He takes the roster spot vacated when Omar Cook signed a 10-day contract with the NBA Portland Trail Blazers.
Fayetteville (13-12) is host to the Columbus Riverdragons (7-19) tonight and travels to league-leading Charleston (17-10) Saturday.
