Patriots Honor Night at the Ballpark
MARYSVILLE, CALIFORNIA: The Yuba-Sutter Gold Sox are proud to announce that they have teamed up with the Patriots Honor this season. "The Patriots Honor is a fantastic organization and we are stoked to work with them this season. The work they do is amazing and we're happy to be a part of it and get the fans involved too," said VP/GM Michael Mink.
Patriots Honor is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of injured veterans and their families. They are a 100% volunteer organization that focuses on "Giving Back to Those Who Gave." The Patriots Honor also helps raise awareness of the day-to-day struggles that veterans go through.
There are two different programs that the Patriots Honor provide for veterans. Golf 4 Patriots helps injured service members improve their mobility through the low-impact sport of golf. Prosthetics for Patriots is dedicated to helping provide state-of-the-art robotic prosthetics in order to help them adjust and enjoy civilian life.
Patriots Honor Night at the Ballpark will be held Saturday, June 9th. It is also a Feather Falls Fireworks Night and KKCY Country 103.1 will be having a live remote broadcast. The Gold Sox also participated in the 2nd Annual Veterans Golf Tournament for Patriots Honor at the Plumas Lake Golf Course on Friday, May 18th.
