OTTAWA â Renegades receiver Pat Woodcock is the co-chair of the 2005 Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ottawa's annual "Cisco Systems' Bowl for Kids' Sake" campaign. The initiative is aiming to raise $100,000 for the organization's one-to-one mentoring programs.
"The money raised during this campaign will go towards providing children with their own mentors," said Woodcock, an Ottawa native entering his second season with the Renegades. "This program will go a long way in improving the daily lives of local children and helping them achieve their full potential as young men and women."
The Cisco Systems' Bowl for Kids' Sake" is fast becoming one of Ottawa's most anticipated annual events featuring prominent local sponsors and over 1,000 bowlers who gather to help make life better for local children.

"The dedication and enthusiasm displayed by our sponsors and participants so far speaks volumes about Ottawa's community spirit."
Big Brothers Big Sisters Ottawa supports and enables girls and boys, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to achieve their full potential as young women and men, by providing opportunities for them to form positive relationships with adult volunteers through a variety of one-to-one and group program.
