Wilmington, NC - Wilmington Hammerheads FC officially announced today that midfielder/defender Tom Parratt has agreed to a two-year deal with the club and will be returning to the roster for the 2015 USL PRO regular season.
"I could not be happier to sign with Wilmington again," said Parratt. "It is my home now, and I am lucky every time I get to put on the Hammerheads shirt and play in front of our fantastic fans and community. Soccer in this town at every level is going in the right direction and I am excited to be a part of it."
Parratt captained the club during the 2014 season, appearing in 24 matches and tallying two goals overall. The upcoming 2015 season will be the veteran player's fifth consecutive season claiming a roster position with the club.

"He is a guy that has shown a willingness to do whatever is asked of him from the team. These types of players are valuable to us as we build a culture, set expectations and demand professionalism. Tom's game is versatile, he is well-liked in the locker room and is a good citizen in the community."
Parratt also plays a key role as the U11-U12 Classic Director for the Wilmington Hammerheads Youth FC program, overseeing the development of the club's younger players. He coaches the top U11 and U12 boys teams and oversees the remaining 13 teams in those age groups.
