Return to Canadian Squad a Long-Awaited Feat for Parker
In the past six years, there have been two FIFA Women's World Cups and two Olympic Tournaments. One women's professional league folded and another was established. Perhaps most importantly, many individual careers have run from beginning to end in that span.
For Sky Blue FC's Kelly Parker, six years is how long she waited for her return to the Canadian Women's National Team. To call her patient would be an understatement; to call her understanding would be more accurate.
