Panthers Assign C Anthony Stewart to Rochester

SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers General Manager and Head Coach Jacques Martin announced today that C Anthony Stewart has been assigned to Rochester (AHL).

Stewart, 22, has appeared in 13 games for Florida this season with no points and a plus-one rating. In 18 games with Rochester (AHL), Stewart has eight goals and 10 assists.

The Panthers return to action on Thursday, Dec. 27 when they travel to Atlanta to take on the Thrashers at 7:00 p.m. The Panthers return home the next night, Friday, Dec. 28, to take on the Montreal Canadiens at the BankAtlantic Center at 7:30 p.m. Both games can be seen live on FSN-Florida or heard on the radio at 790 AM The Ticket.
