Albany Panthers News Release

ALBANY, GA - The 2011 League Champion Albany Panthers today announced the participants who will represent Miller Coors during pre-game activities Saturday night, June 2nd, as the Panthers host the Knoxville Nighthawks on Phoebe Field at the Albany James H Gray Civic Center.

The national anthem will be presented by Emily Stone (daughter of MillerCoors Employee Eric Stone). The invocation will be delivered by Lorenzo Mullins Employee of MillerCoors. Assisting with the coin toss will be Ahtyanna Kendrick pronounced ah-tee-ahn - na (2012 scholarship recipient - daughter of MillerCoors Employee Yvonne Kendrick), and the Game Ball Delivery will be presented by Tim Dill (Vice President/Brewery Plant Manager of MillerCoors).

The Panthers are ranked 1st in this week's PIFL Poll, and they have an 8-1 record in the League. Albany is coming off a win against the Alabama Hammers two weeks ago, and though the Nighthawks (1-8) are currently on a two-game losing streak the importance of this match-up couldn't be bigger. With a win, Albany will clinch a home playoff game on Saturday, June 23rd at the Albany Civic Center.

Tickets for this final regular season home game are still available by contacting the Civic Center Box Office at 229-317-7201.
