
Panthers Announce 3rd Annual "Meet and Greet Party"

ALBANY, Georgia - The 2011 Champion and Professional Indoor Football League's Albany Panthers are wasting no time reaching out to their fans, hosting the 3rd Annual Meet and Greet on March 15 at the Albany James H. Gray Civic Center.
The Meet and Greet, scheduled for 6 p.m. EST, allows fans to meet and interact with Panthers players, coaches, promo team, staff, as well as the lovely Feline Dancersthe Panthers' dance team. Fans will also learn the rules of the fast-paced game of indoor football.
Among the players in attendance will be wide receiver Antwone Savagean Albany (Westover High) native and Oklahoma Sooner alumwho led the Panthers last season with 159 receptions for 1659 yards and 20 touchdowns. He also contributed one tackle and 25 kickoff returns for 464 yards.
Fans can also meet and greet Panther quarterback Cecil Lester. Lester will enter his 7th season in pro football when he suits up as the Panthers' quarterback for the 2012 season. Lester led the Panthers to the 2011 Championship win a game in which he threw ten touchdown passes. For that effort, he was named the contest's Most Valuable Player.
Additionally, all season ticket holders and sponsors are invited to pick up their 2012 season tickets beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Albany kicks off the 2012 season at home on March 17 against the Richmond Raiders.
