
Panther City's Liam Byrnes Named to Team USA for 2023 World Lacrosse Championship

FORT WORTH, TX - Panther City Lacrosse Club defenseman Liam Brynes has been named a member of Team USA, as USA Lacrosse has named the final 23-man roster that will represent the United States in the 2023 World Lacrosse Men's Championship in San Diego, they announced today.
Byrnes, in his second year with Panther City, has totaled 2 points (1 goal/1 assist), 16 loose balls and 4 caused turnovers in the three games Panther City has played this season. Byrnes led the club in '21-'22 with 137 loose balls (5th amongst NLL defenders) and 26 caused turnovers (10th in the NLL). The West Islip, NY native attended Marquette University and just last year was inducted into Marquette's 'M Club' Hall of Fame.
