Panther City's Bob Hamley Named General Manager of the Year Finalist

June 23, 2022 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Panther City Lacrosse Club News Release

Vice President of Lacrosse Operations & General Manager, Bob Hamley, was named a General Manager of the Year Finalist after drafting or acquiring four rookies who fin- ished in the top-20 in rookie points, including Rookie of the Year nominee Patrick Dodds, despite taking a player who wouldn't join the club until the 2022-23 season with the number one overall pick (Jonathan Donville - Maryland). His addition of forward's Cam Milligan and Dean Fairall mid-season helped turn Panther City from one of the low- est-rated Power Play units into one of the best in the league (65.7% with both on the floor).

Hamley facilitated signing Jeremy Thompson (team-lead with 146 claimed loose balls, eighth in NLL, Teammate of the Year Nominee), Will Malcom (81 points, second on team, 18th in the league), Joshua Medeiros (8 goals, second among rookie defensemen, 80 loose balls, 7th among rookie defensemen, 18 blocked shots, second among rookie defensemen, T-4th in NLL), and Pat Foley (82 claimed loose balls, sixth among rookie defensemen, 23 Caused Turnovers, second among rookie defensemen). In addition, he brought on Head Coach of the Year finalist Tracey Kelusky to lead the team.
