Fort Worth, TX - The Panther City Lacrosse Club will host their 'Texas Forever' game this Saturday, March 4 at 7 p.m. at Dickies Arena against the Saskatchewan Rush, the team announced today.

The team will be debuting their first-ever alternate jersey in honor of the great state of Texas, and North Texas' own Squeezebox Bandits will be performing at halftime and again post-game in the Frank Kent Cadillac Club.

Details of Panther City Lacrosse Club's Texas Forever jerseys include:

The Texas state flag prominently displayed on both sides. Only one star is used in the flag design to represent the "Lone Star State."

The long horn, an iconic representation of Texas, as well as the city of Fort Worth, is shown with red eyes to match the PCLC primary logo. It's also a reference to the one of Fort Worth's nicknames- Cowtown.

The skyline on the shorts is the Fort Worth skyline.

Funky Town, displayed on the shorts, is another nickname for Fort Worth, as dubbed by R&B/hip-hop artists in the 1980s due to the blues and jazz scene at the time.

Stars are featured on the shorts and shoulders to play into the song Deep in the Heart of Texas, which says "The stars at night are big and bright... Deep in the heart of Texas."

Tickets are still available for Panther City's 'Texas Forever' game and start at just $25. Fans looking to purchase tickets may visit PantherCityLax.com or call 833-467-2529 .
