Panther City Lacrosse Club Squares off against Saskatchewan Rush

The Panther City Lacrosse Club (6-5) enters the weekend with a crucial Western Conference battle awaiting them as the Saskatchewan Rush (5-4) come to Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, TX. This will be the last meeting between the two teams this season, as the Rush took the initial bout, 11-9, on New Year's Eve in Saskatoon. As Panther City enters March, the team hopes to replicate the success they had last March as the team went a perfect 4-0 last season during the month of March.

On the call with be Ron Thulin (PxP), Dalton Jernigan (Analyst) and Maggie Hale (Floor Reporter) with the game being broadcast on Bally Sports Southwest and ESPN+.

Second-year forward Patrick Dodds is coming off his best scoring output of the season as he recorded four goals at Colorado (2/24). Dodds, who is playing off ball more this year, has continued to produce at a high level with 40 points (17G/23A) and is currently tied for second in the NLL with eight power play goals this season.

Panther City's power play has been a positive for the club this season as rookie Jonathan Donville leads the NLL in power play points (21) and assists (20). Will Malcom is currently tied for second in power play points (19) and holds sole possession of second for power play assists (15) behind Donville.

Defensively, Captain Matt Hossack is currently tied for fifth in the NLL amongst defenders in caused turnovers with 15. He leads Panther City in caused turnovers and has registered at least one CTO in seven of the team's 11 games.

For Saskatchewan they are led by the duo of Mark Matthews (56 points - 16G/40A) and Robert Church (23G/30A), with Ryan Keenan (44 points - 14G/30A) not far behind. Known for their stout defense, the Rush are led by Mike Messenger who leads the team with 83 loose balls and Kyle Rubisch who leads the team with 13 caused turnovers.
