March 21, 2024 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Panther City Lacrosse Club News Release

FORT WORTH, TX - The Panther City Lacrosse Club has announced that the American Cancer Society will be the Community Champion for their game on Friday, March 22 against the Buffalo Bandits. The season-long Community Champion program, which is sponsored by Frank Kent Cadillac, will highlight one local Fort Worth non-profit at each of the team's nine regular season home games.

The American Cancer Society is the leading cancer-fighting organization with a vision of ending cancer as we know it, for everyone. We are the only organization working to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support, to ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer.

Panther City's Offensive Coordinator Kyle Goundrey, defensemen Brandon Goodwin, Evan Messenger and forwards Ty Thompson and Jason Knox recently visited the Gene and Jerry Jones Family Hope Lodge, where they interacted with guests and served dinner thanks to Panther City BBQ. All guess left with tickets to a Panther City Lacrosse Club game while they were in town. VIDEO HERE

The Community Champions initiative provides each non-profit with the opportunity to share their mission, impact, and provide engagement opportunities with the team and fans. Benefits of the partnership include a dasher board for the duration of the season, collaborative community programming, in-game recognition, complimentary tickets for volunteers and employees, as well as activation opportunities at home games.
