Pacific FC Signs Defender Chris Lee

June 10, 2021 - Canadian Premier League (CPL)
Pacific FC News Release

Victoria, BC - Pacific FC has signed 2021 CPL-U-SPORTS Draft pick Chris Lee. The defender was the fifth pick in the draft that ran across the country in January. He has signed a U SPORTS Developmental Contract with the team today as they prepare to start their 2021 season this summer.

"Chris is a great person and young player with high potential," said Pa-Modou Kah, Head Coach, Pacific FC. "He is an intelligent player with technical and tactical abilities and we believe he has the qualities to be a professional. We are happy and excited to welcome him into the PFC family."

Raised in West Vancouver, Lee, 19, trained previously with the Vancouver Whitecaps Residency Program. He attributes the five years he spent with that organization as formative as both a player and a person. Following his time with the Whitecaps, Lee played for UBC where he studies kinesiology.

In addition to his time on the pitch as a university player, Lee had had appearances with Canada's youth teams.
