Langford, B.C. - Pacific FC take on Vancouver FC in a Salish Sea Derby. The Tridents seek a win over their B.C. rivals, the first three meetings this season saw the Eagles victorious. Here's everything you need to know about today's match up, kicking off at Starlight Stadium in Langford at 5:00 p.m.:

MATCH NOTES

BC Derby

Pacific FC will face off against their BC rivals, Vancouver FC, in the Tridents' final match at Starlight Stadium of the 2026 season. Saturday marks Pacific's last match in Langford before the club closes out the campaign with two matches at Royal Athletic Park in Downtown Victoria. The stakes are high for the Tridents, as a loss or a draw against Vancouver FC would officially eliminate the squad from playoff contention, making Saturday's BC Derby a must-win for the home side.

Coaching Change

With Terry Dunfield serving a two-match suspension, Yiannis Tsalatsidis will take over as head coach for Saturday's match, with Jesse Acteson assisting. The match will mark Tsalatsidis' first time back in the head coaching position since serving as Pacific FC's interim head coach earlier this season before Dunfield took over.

Kids Takeover

Saturday's match is the Kids Takeover Match, presented by TELUS, with plenty happening around the stadium for young fans. The Tridents will take the pitch in limited-edition SpongeBob SquarePants warm-up jerseys, which will be auctioned off following the match, with all proceeds supporting the Island Kids Cancer Association. Thanks to TELUS' support, Pacific will also welcome community groups to the match through donated tickets.
