Billings Outlaws News Release
December 4, 2002- The Billings Outlaws are pleased and excited to announce 3 more player signings, all veteran players from the 2002 team that won the pacific Conference championship. They are:
Fau Mamea, the 5foot 11 230# defensive end who joined the Outlaws from the Wyoming Cavalry during the Outlaws playoff rum, will be back to add his speed to the Outlaws pass rush. His experience at Upper Iowa University and the 3 seasons he played for Wyoming fits the Outlaws defensive scheme well.
Tau Moa will be returning from the 2002 team as well. The 6 foot 2 270# offensive lineman is a solid addition to the Outlaws offensive. Tau attended Eastern Washington University. His mental and physical toughness are a cornerstone of the offense.
Robert Hampton a wide receiver from the 2002 team will be returning in the same position for 2003 the 5 foot 11 190 lb. Hampton went to school at Kansas Wesleyan College and was responsible for 3 of the Outlaws touchdowns in the national championship game as well as many touchdowns during the regular season.
These three add a lot to the Outlaws team. The first regular season game is scheduled for March 15, 2003 against the Bismarck roughriders. Season tickets are available by calling the Outlaws office at 259-2226.
