OurSports Central Names UFL Players of the Week

Virginia Destroyers quarterback Chris Greisen, Destroyers linebacker Tony Taylor and Virgina kicker Delbert Alvarado were named the OurSports Central United Football League Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week, respectively, for week two of the UFL season.

Greisen completed 18 of 23 passes for 204 yards and two touchdowns in the Destroyers' 34-17 victory over the Las Vegas Locomotives. Greisen played in the NFL with the Arizona Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys, NFL Europe with the Rhein Fire, af2 with the Green Bay Blizzard, and the AFL with the Georgia Force, Dallas Desperados and the Milwaukee Iron.

Taylor finished with seven total tackles in the Destroyers' win over the Locos. Taylor played in the NFL with the Atlanta Falcons in 2008.

Alvarado went 2-2 in field goals, (31 and 35 yards) 4-4 on PAT's and added one touchback on a kickoff in Virginia's victory. Alvarado played college football at South Florida.
