OurSports Central Names UFL Players of the Week

Sacramento Mountain Lions quarterback Daunte Culpepper, Sacramento Mountain Lions linebacker Zeke Moreno and Omaha Nighthawks cornerback Ricardo Colclough were named the OurSports Central United Football League Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week respectively, for week two of the UFL season.

Culpepper completed 26 of 42 throws for 374 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in the Mountain Lions' 24-20 victory over the Florida Tuskers. Culpepper, a three-time NFL Pro Bowl selection, played 11 seasons in the National Football League with the Minnesota Vikings, Miami Dolphins, Oakland Raiders and Detroit Lions.

Moreno finished with 10.5 total tackles in the Mountain Lions' victory over the Tuskers. Moreno played for the San Diego Chargers from 2001-2004 and with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2005. He also competed in the CFL from 2007-09 with three teams: the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Toronto Argonauts. He was selected as a CFL All-Star in 2007 and 2008.

Colclough had four kickoff returns for 110 yards, including one that went for 35 yards in the Nighthawks' 27-26 victory over the Hartford Colonials. Colclough spent six seasons in the NFL with three teams: the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns and Kansas City Chiefs from 2004 to 2009.
