
Osterman Picks up 12th Win of the Season, Pride Defeat the Charge 6-2

SUGAR LAND, TX. - August 3, 2015 - The USSSA Pride defeated the Dallas Charge, 6-2, in front of 2,121 fans at Constellation Field in Sugar Land, Texas. Cat Osterman earned the win, hurling a gem of a game, scattering five hits for 6.1 innings while striking out nine and allowing just one run.
The Pride broke a scoreless tie in the bottom of the third on a sacrifice fly from Kelly Kretschman. The teams would exchange zeroes until the bottom of the sixth when the Pride exploded for five runs in the frame.
Osterman earned her twelfth win of the season, improving to 12-2 while Jolene Henderson was tagged with the loss after pitching well, but trouble in the sixth inning hindered her performance.
The teams continue the series tomorrow evening at 7:05 p.m. at Constellation Field.
