Orlando Rays Tickets Now Available

ORLANDO, FL-- Orlando Rays 2003 individual game tickets for all 70 home dates go on sale Saturday February 1 at 10 a.m.

Once again Rays fans will be able to purchase tickets in a variety of ways, including via the Ticketmaster network or through the Disney Wide World of Sports system. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster by phone at 1-407-839-3900 or online at Ticketmaster.com. Fans can also purchase tickets by visiting the Disney Wide World of Sports box office or by calling 407-939-GAME. Tickets are $8 per game for the lower level reserved seats and $5 for general admission seats.

The 2003 Rays' season promises to be a fun and exciting one, as the schedule includes appearances from the ZOOperstars, a Parrot Heads night, as well as promotional giveaways including Jerry Greene bobble head dolls, water bottles and seat cushions.

The Rays offer fans a chance to check out Major League Baseball's future superstars in a fun, affordable atmosphere. Notable Rays alumni includes INF Jared Sandberg, who hit .271 with 6 HR and 39 RBI over parts of two seasons (2000-2001) with Rays; OF Carl Crawford, who hit .274 with 51 RBI and 36 stolen bases in 2001; and LHP Joe Kennedy who was 4-0 with a 0.19 ERA in seven games with Orlando in 2001. All three will start the 2003 season in Tampa with the Rays' parent club.

The Rays kick off their 2003 home schedule April 11th against the Tennessee Smokies!
