Orlando Predators News Release

ORLANDO - May 8, 2015 - The Orlando Predators announced several roster moves in advance of Friday's game against the Philadelphia Soul. The team added veteran quarterback Brian Zbydniewski and wide receiver Julian Williams on Wednesday. The Predators were also assigned Christian Reed on an emergency kicker basis today.

Now in his sixth season, Zbydniewski (6-1, 200, Belhaven) has thrown for 6,504 yards and 116 touchdowns in his Arena Football League career. Zbydniewski most recently played in two games for LA KISS this season and previously played under Head Coach Rob Keefe with the Spokane Shock in 2010.

Williams (6-1, 195, Marian) returns to the Predators after attending training camp with the team this season. He previously played for the Iowa Barnstormers and hauled in 71 passes for 690 yards and eight touchdowns as a rookie in 2014. Williams also served as Iowa's primary kickoff returner, adding 502 yards on 34 kickoffs.

Reed (6-0, 196, Wofford) previously kicked for Orlando in a 56-50 victory over the Arizona Rattlers during the team's 2014 regular season finale. In that matchup, Reed booted a successful onside kick in the game's final moments that allowed Orlando to retain possession and run out the clock for the win.

Orlando also activated defensive back Anthony Shutt from the inactive reserve list Wednesday while placing wide receiver Greg Carr on inactive reserve. Shutt will be active for Friday's game, while Carr will be ineligible to participate.

The Orlando Predators travel in Week 7 to take on the Philadelphia Soul on Friday, May 8 at 7:30p.m. EST. The game will be broadcast live online on ESPN3.com and WatchESPN.com. For all the latest news and updates, visit orlandopredators.com and follow the team on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
