Second Tryout Camp Dec. 9
The Orlando Predators will hold the second of two scheduled Free Agent Open Tryout Camps on Saturday, Dec. 9 at the Florida Citrus Bowl Complex. Predators officials are expecting between 100 to 150 prospective players to participate in the open tryout. To date, the Predators have 28 players under contract for 2007 and can sign up to 37 players. The first tryout in September resulted in the Predators offering contracts to five players - the most ever for an open tryout. Stafford Participates in Special Events
New Orlando Predators quarterback Shane Stafford will be at Disney's Wide World of Sports on Wednesday and Thursday (Dec. 6-7) to participate in several activities being sponsored by the Arena Football League. On Wednesday, Stafford will join other Arena Football League stars for an appearance at the Pop Warner Football National Championships. On Thursday, he will participate in the filming of a national public service announcement for Children's Miracle Network. Stafford, who set passing records at Tampa Bay before signing with the Predators as a free agent, also appears as a football extra in "We Are Marshall," which hits the nation's theaters on Dec. 22.
Hamilton at ACC Game
Former Predators quarterback Joe Hamilton was recently spotted at the ACC Championship Football game in Jacksonville, Fla. Hamilton, who starred at Georgia Tech in the late 1990s, is currently enrolled in classes at Tech as he finishes his bachelor of science degree. Hamilton, who is currently an AFL free agent, also serves as a color analyst on Georgia Tech football telecasts and reported that he has narrowed his choices for a new AFL team to two clubs.

Jay Gruden Youth Football Camp Dec. 18-21
The second annual "Orlando Predators Winter Flag Football Camp" will be held Dec. 18-21 at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Orlando Maitland Campus. The camp will be held from 9 a.m. - 12 noon daily. This special four-day flag football camp is specially designed for young players from grades 2-6. The camp will be conducted by Predators head coach Jay Gruden, assistant head coach Les Moss and select Orlando Predators players. The daily program will include both individual skills and team instruction. Campers will enjoy learning football skills and playing daily games in a competitive but fun and safe environment. The camp is open to the public and cost is $130 per player. A discount is available to members of JCC. Space is limited to the first 100 players to register. All campers will receive a certificate of achievement and a voucher good for two free tickets to a 2007 Orlando Predators home game. 2007 Schedule Released
The 2007 schedule was recently released and the Predators open the home portion of schedule with a Monday, March 12 game with the Los Angeles Avengers. Excluding a 59-34 blowout win by the Predators last season, the two teams have engaged in three of the most riveting games in franchise history with all three of them being decided on the final play of the game. Overall, the schedule includes eight regular season home games - including five on Friday nights, one Saturday night game and two Monday night game. The season opens March 2 in Tampa Bay, where Predators quarterback Shane Stafford will face his former teammates in the first game of the season. Season Ticket Party Slated for Feb. 24
The fifth annual Orlando Predators Season Ticket Pick-up Party has been tentatively scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 24 at Thunder Field, adjacent to the Florida Citrus Bowl. A live scrimmage, player meet and greet, appearance by the Prowlers Dance Team, the Predators inflatables, food, music and additional entertainment is planned for this free event.
