Orlando Predators and Coach Pat O'Hara Part Ways

ORLANDO - The Orlando Predators and head coach Pat O'Hara parted ways on Monday following an 11-7 campaign and the team's 19th-straight trip to the postseason. The Preds lost in the first round of the playoffs on Friday, 63-48, on the road against Jacksonville.
"We'd like to thank Coach O'Hara for his professionalism and leadership over the past two years and all he's done for the organization," Preds Managing Partner Brett Bouchy said. "He'll always be a part of the Orlando Predators, but we've decided that the time has come to move in a different direction."
O'Hara went 8-8 in his first season as head coach in Orlando in 2010, when the Preds fell just a field goal short of advancing to its eighth ArenaBowl title game.
"I appreciate the opportunity I was given to coach the team I once played for and won two championships with," O'Hara said. "I wish the Predators organization the best of luck moving forward."
The search for a new coaching staff in Orlando will begin immediately.
