
Orlando City Signs Homegrown Goalkeeper Mason Stajduhar to New Contract

ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando City SC has signed Homegrown goalkeeper Mason Stajduhar to a new, three-year contract through 2025 with a Club option in 2026, it was announced today. The new contract will take effect January 2023.
Stajduhar, 24, has made 10 appearances to date throughout his Orlando City career, including three starts in the 2022 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, winning two and helping the Lions advance to the Quarterfinals via penalty-kick shootout in the third. The Homegrown goalkeeper joined the Lions in November 2015, becoming the fourth Homegrown in the Club's history.
"Mason is someone who has always given his very best day in and day out and we're incredibly excited to get him signed to this new deal," said Orlando City EVP of Soccer Operations and General Manager Luiz Muzzi. "His talent, unwavering dedication and commitment to improving everyday is something that we absolutely love and it's just one of the many reasons that we wanted to keep Mason in Orlando for the foreseeable future."
Prior to joining the First Team, the 24-year-old represented the Lions as a member of their U-16, U-18, and U-23 Academy teams throughout his time in Orlando. Stajduhar has also featured for the United States U-18 and U-20 National teams.
