
Oregon Riptide looking for head coach

Salem, OR. J. Brice, President of Basketball Operations of the newly named ABA Oregon Riptide expansion basketball team scheduled to begin play in November is looking for a head coach. Mr. Brice stated that they have had a couple of interested candidates in mind, but would like to open up the search to a much larger pool of applicants. "The Riptide is searching for a coach with strong character, community-oriented and, of course, the knowledge and coaching style to develop discipline and teach younger players and veterans alike," said Brice.
Brice added, "We want to be a force on the court and in the community. We need a coach that can start and maintain a winning tradition for the Oregon Riptide organization."
