Orange County SC Announce 2021 Preseason Schedule

Orange County SC today announced its 2021 preseason schedule in advance of the USL Championship Regular Season.

Orange County SC will officially begin preseason training on Monday, March 15. Training will continue throughout March and April at Great Park before traveling to Colorado for a friendly against USL Championship side Colorado Switchbacks FC, which will take place at the Switchback's brand new Weidner Field. The $35 million stadium seats 8,000 and is one of two new USL Championship stadiums that will debut in 2021.

Orange County SC will host the remaining preseason games at home, in Championship Soccer Stadium. The club will compete against three top-level University opponents, three-time Big West Conference Champions Cal State Fullerton (April 10), 2018 Big West Conference Champions UC Riverside (May 1), and back-to-back PacWest Champions Azusa Pacific University (May 1).

Also as a part of the preseason, Orange County SC will host two Southern California rivalry matches at Championship Soccer Stadium, USL Championship side LA Galaxy II (April 17), and USL League Two side Ventura County Fusion (May 8).

The USL has announced that the 2021 Regular Season may begin anywhere between April 24 and May 15. The complete regular-season schedule will be announced at a later date.
