Georgia Gwizzlies News Release

Mason, GA. It's confirmed. "The Oprah Winfrey Show" will tape an episode in Macon, Georgia on Nov. 17th at the Macon CenterPlex and according to ABA Georgia Gwizzlies team owner Embry Malone, "You can be sure we'll be there to greet Ms. Winfrey. Our team was originally scheduled to be at the Macon Mall and surrounding shopping centers on Nov 17 following our return from two games in Dallas and Houston. But we are going to re-schedule and would like to welcome Oprah to the city. One of our board members, Martin Luther King III will be there too as Oprah has been a staunch supporter of the King family for decades and was close to Coretta Scott King. Rain or shine, we'll be there."
