Only 750 Championship Tickets Remain

The Seattle Sounders today announced that less than 100 covered grandstand seats remain for Saturday night's United Soccer League Championship match against the Atlanta Silverbacks at the Starfire Sports Complex.

"With grandstand seating nearing capacity, there are only 750 overall tickets remaining and we are expecting those to go quickly," said Sounders general manager, Bart Wiley. "Fans who want to attend this match are encouraged to buy as soon as possible."

Uncovered bleacher seating is available for $20 - tickets can be purchased by calling 206 628-0888 or by visiting seattlesounders.net.

The Sounders are working to bring Seattle their fourth USL First Division Title in the current Sounders era that began in 1994. It'll be the third appearance in the Championship in the last four year's and a chance for the Sounders to claim their third trophy of the 2007 season, having all ready claimed the northwest based Cascadia Cup and the USL First Division Regular Season Title.

Atlanta is playing in their first championship match after winning their first playoff match in the clubs eight year history in the fist round against Rochester. The Silverbacks have been one of the hottest teams in the USL First Division through the second half of the season and sport and impressive blend of speed and size.

Kick-off for the match is promptly at 7pm, gates open at 5pm and fans are encouraged to arrive early for the event in order to avoid last minute congestion. Parking inside the complex is $10 and parking outside the complex in one of two lots located North of Fort Dent Way on Interurban is $5. All parking is first come first served and all seating is general admission.
