TIJUANA, MEXICO - The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) announced today that Monterrey Flash forward Omar Santillán was named the Week Fourteen Player of the Week. He becomes the first Flash player to win the award this season.

The Monterrey Flash are the only unbeaten team in the league, with 15 straight wins. On Sunday they faced the San Diego Sockers at home and after giving up the advantage at the start of the second quarter, they were pushed by Santillan to a victory thanks to four goals.

Santillan came to the Flash at the start of the season and has scored eleven goals and five assists with his new team as the Flash have risen to the top of the MASL table.

He thanked the MASL fans for the award, "I also want to thank my family and teammates, and God for always being there for me."

The Monterrey Flash will rest this weekend, but they are back in action on Thursday, February 8th, when they visit California to take on the Ontario Fury at 7:05 p.m. PT
