Gatineau - The Gatineau Olympiques organization have supported the cause of breast cancer for the five past years already by setting up annually, a special evening in order to collect some funds to overcome this terrible disease.

It is Saturday October 29th at 7h00pm that the Gatineau Olympiques will proudly wear their pink jerseys to support this cause. For the occasion, they will receive the visit of the Huskies of Rouyn-Noranda.

To raise more funds, the Olympiques are putting on sell through a silent auction the 23 pink jerseys worn by the players during their breast cancer game. The opening bid for each of the jerseys will be set at $100. Fans that wish to obtain a jersey will be able to start bidding as early as the next game of the Olympiques this Friday, October 7th. A stand will be installed in the main lobby of the Robert-Guertin Center.

Pink scarves will also be available for the fans for the games of Friday and Saturday. In exchange for a scarf the Olympiques ask for a minimum of $2 of donation.

In addition, gift certificates from the Sporthèque and Dermasoin will be drawn among all the women present at the game. They will only need to fill out a coupon when they arrive at the arena.

Therefore we invite you to join us for these two special events. All the net revenues of these events will be given to the Foundation of the CSSS of Gatineau.
