Olympiques send Labrecque to Shawinigan Cataractes

BOUCHERVILLE, Wednesday, December 21, 2005 (QMJHL) - The Gatineau Olympiques today traded 20 year-old forward Guillaume Labrecque (85-06-13) along with their 3rd round pick in 2007 to the Shawinigan Cataractes for winger Matthew Pistilli (88-10-17) and their 2nd round selection in the 2006 Entry Draft.
Labrecque, a two-time President Cup trophy winner with the Olympiques franchise in back to back campaigns - 2002-03 and 2003-04 - has sixteen goals and twenty-four helpers in thirty-three games this season.
