
Olympiques Announce Trades

Gatineau - The Gatineau Olympiques have made a couple of trades this morning.
First, they acquired the 20year old defenseman Guillaume Rousseau from the Quebec Remparts in return of a 8th round pick in 2012. In 57 games last season with Quebec, he had 7 assists and 47 penalty minutes.
In addition, the right winger of 19 years old, Rock Régimbald, from the Chicoutimi Saguenéens will spend the next season with the Olympiques. In return, the Olympiques get a 7th round pick in 2013. Regimbald scored 7 goals and 25 assists in 67 games last year.
Antoine Bibeau has been traded to PEI against a 4th round pick in 2013. He will only have come and gone in the organization of the Olympiques after he was acquired in the dissolution draft from Lewiston in June.
Meanwhile, Olivier Picard will continue his junior career with the Armada of Blainville- Boisbriand. In return, the Gatineau Olympiques acquired an 8th round pick in 2013.

The head-coach Benoit Groulx has also released Felix Bergeron and Bruno Leblanc this morning.

Yesterday, the Olympiques acquired Adam Guy from the Moncton Wildcats in return for a 10th round pick in 2013.
