May 3, 2007 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release

Indianapolis, IN. The newest member of the ABA Affiliates program is Old Style Leagues, Inc. (established 2003). This is an all year round Men's Recreational Basketball League run by two Jr. High School teachers. The league offers low cost basketball during four separate seasons on Monday-Thursday evenings (currently averaging over 22 teams per season). This New York State Licensed and insured business operates in Queens and Nassau Counties NY.

Old Style's popular web site is www.oldstyleleagues.com. According to league president Glenn O Brien, "Our recent affiliation with the ABA will move us towards incorporating more of the pro league's exciting rules. We are very excited being connected to a league like the ABA and through mutual support, both league's futures will be bright." For more information, call 516 994 32332 or Robert Black at 917 415 9091 or email oldstyleleagues@yahoo.com.

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams. For information on professional minor leagues, please see OSC's basketball section.
