OHL Television Broadcast Schedule to Include 560 Games in 2010-11

Toronto, ON - The Ontario Hockey League in association with broadcast partners Rogers TV, TVCogeco, Eastlink, and Shaw TV, today announced that a regular season broadcast schedule offering a total of 560 OHL games is available to fans during the 2010-11 season.
This season's broadcast schedule matches that of 2009-10 which provided the most extensive broadcast coverage in OHL history. Rogers TV will continue to broadcast 306 games in nine markets this season, with TVCogeco showing 204 games in six markets, Eastlink will broadcast 34 games in Sudbury, and Shaw TV will air 16 games from Sault Ste. Marie. All 560 of those games can be seen by OHL Action Pak subscribers.
In addition, the OHL is pleased to offer fans the opportunity for the sixth straight year to see all 680 regular season games live or in archive format through pay-per-view on OHL Livestream provided by NeuLion available at www.ontariohockeyleague.com .

"Fans anywhere in the league can enjoy watching their favourite teams and players in what promises to be another exciting season of OHL action."
The 2010-11 regular season schedule opens tomorrow night with two games including the reigning OHL and MasterCard Memorial Cup Champions the Windsor Spitfires hosting the Plymouth Whalers as well as an East Division clash between rivals the Oshawa Generals visiting the Peterborough Petes.
