Toronto, Ont. - The Ontario Hockey League is proud to announce a new three-year partnership with FPS Payment.
FPS Payment offers a wide range of business solutions in the spheres of e-commerce as well as a multitude of point-of-service payment solutions in the restaurant and retail industry.
"Partnering with FPS Payment allows our league direct access to work with a leader in this field," said Cole Butterworth, Vice President of OHL Business Operations. "Over the past few months, our teams have been reviewing the opportunities offered by FPS Payment and are looking for ways that they can collaborate to optimize their sales processes."
FPS Payment has also established agreements with the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) and the Western Hockey League (WHL).
"Being myself a former professional athlete and father of two young men who are currently living their dreams in professional sports, including one who played in the QMJHL, I thought it was important to be able to give back to the league that gave us so much and to sports in general. The values instilled in us by the QMJHL, the CHL and other elite-level sports help us grow into better individuals. By offering my services with FPS to major junior teams, I can kill two birds with one stone and provide better services to athletes and to their junior teams who will benefit from a relationship with a well-established company on the market," shared Michel Brunet of FPS Payment.
