OHL Announces Rogers Championship Series Broadcast Information

Toronto, ON - The Ontario Hockey League today announced the television broadcast schedule for the 2013 Rogers OHL Championship Series for the Robertson Cup beginning Friday night between the London Knights and the Barrie Colts.

All Rogers Digital customers across Ontario can enjoy the action of the Rogers OHL Championship Series with all games available on Digital channel 368 (SD) and 369 (HD).

If necessary, Game 5 of the Rogers OHL Championship Series will also be broadcast nationally on Sportsnet's Friday Night Hockey available on Sportsnet ONE in addition to Rogers Digital channel 368 (SD) and 369 (HD).

All other games (Games 1-4, 6-7) of the Rogers OHL Championship Series can be seen live in Simcoe County on Rogers TV, Cable 10/53 and locally in London on Rogers TV, Cable 13.

The entire 2013 Rogers OHL Championship Series is also available to Super Sports Pak customers and online through OHL Livestream.

The Knights captured the Wayne Gretzky Trophy as Western Conference Champions with a five-game series win over the Plymouth Whalers, while the Barrie Colts earned the Bobby Orr Trophy as Eastern Conference Champions with a seven-game series win over the Belleville Bulls.

The Robertson Cup is emblematic of the Ontario Hockey League's championship series. The Cup was presented by J. Ross Robertson, who was president of the Ontario Hockey Association from 1901 to 1905. Since its inception, the Robertson Cup has been won by 23 different teams, with the Oshawa Generals leading the way with 12 championships, including seven consecutive championships between 1938 and 1944. The Toronto Marlboros have made the most final series appearances with 15.

The Knights are making their sixth appearance in the Rogers OHL Championship Series with Robertson Cup titles in 2012 and 2005. The Colts are competing in the Finals for the fourth time in franchise history with one Robertson Cup title in 2000.
