The Ontario Hockey League today announced the results of two separate discipline review incidents which took place in games this past weekend.
Game of Friday, November 21st, 2014 - Erie at Sarnia
The Ontario Hockey League today announced the result of a review of an incident which took place in a game played in Sarnia on the 21st of November, 2014 involving the Sting and the visiting Erie Otters Hockey Club.
The incident reviewed was a boarding infraction involving player Paval Zacha of the Sarnia Sting Hockey Club.
Based on such review, it is the position of the League that player Paval Zacha shall be suspended for six (6) games, dating from but not including the game of Friday, November 21st, 2014.
Game of Sunday, November 23rd, 2014 - Owen Sound at Oshawa
The Ontario Hockey League today announced the result of a review of an incident which took place in a game played in Oshawa on the 23rd of November, 2014 involving the Generals and the visiting Owen Sound Attack Hockey Club.
The incident reviewed was a checking to the head infraction involving player Cole Cassels of the Oshawa Generals Hockey Club.
Based on such review, it is the position of the League that player Cole Cassels shall be suspended for ten (10) games, dating from but not including the game of Sunday, November 23rd, 2014.
