
OHL Announces Disciplinary Action
May 3, 2010 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL) News Release
Toronto, ON - The Ontario Hockey League today announced the results of its review of separate incidents which occurred in the game played in Windsor on the 2nd of May, 2010 involving the Spitfires and the visiting Barrie Colts Hockey Club.
Player Zac Rinaldo
The incident reviewed was physical interaction with an official by player Zac Rinaldo.
As a result of his actions, player Zac Rinaldo shall be suspended indefinitely.
Player Adam Wallace
The incident reviewed was inappropriate physical interaction with an opponent late in the game.
As a result of his actions, player Adam Wallace shall be suspended indefinitely.
Player Darren Archibald
The incident reviewed was a match penalty assessed to player Darren Archibald of the Barrie Colts Hockey Club as a result of his interaction with goaltender Philipp Grubauer of the Windsor Spitfires Hockey Club.
As a result of his actions, player Darren Archibald shall be suspended indefinitely.
In addition, both the Windsor Spitfires Hockey Club and the Barrie Colts Hockey Club are fined $5,000.00 for unprofessional off-ice conduct.
