Published on April 7, 2006 under Ontario Hockey League (OHL) News Release

Toronto - The Ontario Hockey League today announced that all Conference Semi-Final games in the 2006 OHL Playoffs will be broadcast live locally and through the OHL Action Pak on Rogers Television and TV Cogeco. Additional feeds will be picked up in Sudbury and Plymouth in order to make this complete coverage possible.

The addition of the home playoff games for the Sudbury Wolves and the Plymouth Whalers will be available on the OHL Action Pak for the first time through a co-operative effort with Rogers Television and TV Cogeco, in Ontario and Rogers Television and Schoolcraft Sports Network, in Plymouth.

"We are very excited to add these games to our broadcast lineup," said OHL Commissioner David Branch. "The introduction of live local broadcasts and the OHL Action Pak has helped to bring our fans closer to the game than ever before. We are pleased to continue to add to this program through our partnership with Rogers Television, TV Cogeco, and Schoolcraft Sports Network especially during the playoffs."

In addition to the television broadcasts, all remaining OHL games will be available online in broadcast quality through the OHL Live Stream program, which is a partnership with INSINC. Additional information on OHL Live Stream as well as a schedule of all playoff matches is available online at www.ontariohockeyleague.com.
