LAKELAND, Fla. â Centurion Sports Management, LLC has scheduled a press conference for Thursday, October 7th at 4:00PM at the Daytona Beach Ocean Center. CSM will officially announce that they have been awarded a National Indoor Football League franchise and will begin play in March 2005 at the Ocean Center. The yet to be named Daytona Beach team will play in the NIFL's South East Division in the Atlantic Conference.
CSM will also launch a "Name the Team" contest asking the public for their suggestions for the name of the new team. Suggestions may be submitted via CSM's website at www.centurionsports.com or via toll free fax at 1-866-637-9777. One grand prize winner will be selected from the winning entries and will receive a pair of season tickets for the inaugural season.
