
Offensive Leader Klempa Re-Ups with Bees

Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees News Release
The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees of the Central Hockey League (CHL) announced on Thursday that forward Tomas Klempa has re-signed with the squad for the upcoming season.
Klempa led the Bees in both goals and points last season with 23 goals and 63 points. Klempa was a force throughout the entire season the paced the Bees offensively from the first game forward.
"Tomas is a highly skilled forward with good hockey awareness and a phenomenal knack for being in the right place at the right time," said new Killer Bees head coach Terry Ruskowski. "Tomas immediately upgrades any team's offense."
Klempa joined the Killer Bees last season after being acquired from the Wichita Thunder. Klempa has previously suited up for the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL), Ft. Wayne Komets (IHL) and Johnston Chiefs (ECHL) before making the move to Wichita. Klempa played collegiately at the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
Klempa is the fourth player the Killer Bees have signed for the upcoming season including another returner, defenseman Kyle Radke.
